Yahoo! First production run of Corvair LED lights are soldout, and LED lights from the second run are available for order.
Retrolumen is quietly still making and selling taillights and front directional lights for Corvair lovers.
Our first production run of lights has just sold out, and we are in the process of making more. Gary Baxter is a valuable friend of Retrolumen providing feedback and design insight for all our designs.
We decided to change the taillights design for Corvair late model cars ('65 and later) to take advantage of newer LED technology and to make them even easier to install.
The lights can now be ordered with RED LEDs w/1157 ends for driving and braking functions, or with WHITE LEDs w/1156 for backup light replacement.
These pictures don't quite do justice to the improvement in brightness as the camera auto-correction is coming into play.
The taillights for early model cars are also available in red LED w/1157 or white LED w/1156.

Under construction...
We are currently working on a website where aficionados of Corvairs can order LED Tail Lights. In the meantime inquiries and requests for the installation instructions can be directed to Hank at RetroLumen@gmail.com.
Our current model covers from Corvairs from '65 to '69. There has been interest in taillights for earlier models as well as taillights for vans and pick-ups. We are also willing to discuss LED assemblies for other orphaned automobile models.
